It almost seems a sin not to write a blog post on Women’s Day!

I absolutely love being a woman. To me, a woman is like the sky; everchanging, yet constant, mysterious, stormy, peaceful and a glimpse of heaven!

I love the fact that I can feel so deeply, that I can cry with someone who is sad. I love the way we women are a comfort to our families and friends.

I love that I am strong; I can bounce back from failure. I love that I can hold my friends up when they are down.

I love that I can hold life within me and nurture it. I like being both sunshine and tears.

I love all the roles I play; daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend and most importantly me!

This women’s day I have offered a deal on my poetry books, “Who Shall I be Today” and “ A Mother’s Heart”

Who Shall I Be Today? – A powerful collection of poetry that embraces the many roles a woman plays, from a dreamer to a warrior, a nurturer to a rebel. Each poem is a celebration of strength, resilience, and the ever-changing essence of womanhood.

A Mother’s Heart – A touching compilation of poems and reflections that beautifully capture the joys, struggles, and unconditional love of motherhood. Whether you’re a mother, a daughter, or someone who cherishes the bond of love, this book will resonate deeply.

  1. I loved reading this post. It makes me realize I am so much more. My favourite line is – To me, a woman is like the sky; everchanging, yet constant, mysterious, stormy, peaceful and a glimpse of heaven.

  2. I love being a woman too, Sunita! You know, I used to feel sorry for the boys in my class just because they weren’t girls—I always thought being a girl was awesome. The three boys I live with now don’t quite agree, but who cares what they think!

Lovely poem, Sunita. I bought A Mother’s Heart a while ago but haven’t read it yet. This is a wonderful gift for Women’s Day.

  3. What a beautiful reflection on womanhood! I love how you describe a woman as the sky—everchanging yet constant. Your books sound like a heartfelt tribute to the many roles we embrace. This offer is such a lovely way to celebrate Women’s Day!
