Last year though my Word Of The Year was “my way”, it seemed to be more of a year of learning. I was blessed to be able to do two courses. One was Miracles by Ishieta Chopra (you can read about that here). The other was Story Visioning by Nidhi Bruce. You can read my review of her book here.
I had read Nidhi’s book Story Visioning and worked through it. I just loved the exercises that she has added to the book. It also contains her own experiences of creating scenes and plotting her own story. This made it so relatable and real. It was like watching a movie of my life in my head and then writing it down to lock it down further.
When Nidhi announced her course of Story Visioning, I was thrilled because it meant I got to work with a mentor and dive deeper into what the book promised.
So in September last year, I did the course . I not only enjoyed it, but I got much more out of it than I expected.
For four weeks, we worked together. Each week had two sessions. This is different from other manifestation courses in that you do not just leave it to the universe. You actually visualize the story of your life. The first session in each week involved deep thinking and journaling, meditation and creating an environment that lends itself to manifestation.
The second session each week was a discussion on what we learnt and how we could apply it to daily life. This was also the forum to clarify ideas and thoughts.
I really looked forward to these sessions every week, wondering what new things I would discover about myself each week. I had a few breakthrough moments which quite surprised me.
I was able to relate to so much of the course which helped me take measures to correct what I wanted in my life.
I am not saying that it is a miraculous course. It takes its time but now five months later, I can see the fruit of the seeds sown then.
